February 28, 1951 — May 20, 2022
Jan Cook Lee, 71, passed away May 20, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was a lifelong area resident. Jan was passionate about singing in the choir at Advent Lutheran Church as well as the Akron Symphony Chorus. She also performed with other local choirs and ensembles. She had an infectious laugh that made her stand out in a crowd. Her greatest love was watching her sons perform in school band and the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps.
Preceded in death by husband, Warren Lee in 2017, she will be sadly missed by her sons, Bob (Kelly Heider) Cook, Mike (Sara) Cook; granddaughters, Phoebe, Felicia.
Per Jan's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jan's name to Advent Lutheran Church.
