Jane Laurenti

Jane M. Laurenti, 87, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1936 the daughter of the late Salvatore and Christine Laurenti. Jane is a woman of faith and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She retired after 37 years of dedicated service with General Tire. She was active in General Tire's Corporate Challenge. Jane gave to others and volunteered at Summa Hospital. Jane loved to travel exploring new locations. She also loved to cook and would enjoy going out for dinner with family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Paul (Takako) Laurenti, Louis (Diana) Laurenti, John Laurenti, Frances (Herman) Prebynski, and Linda (Ralph) Miller; nieces Anna Laurenti and Deborah LeBeau; and special friends, Janet Johnson, Shirley Stavroff, and Jim and Vi Sharp.

Jane is survived by her best friend and loving sister, Patricia Laurenti; brother Samuel (Nancy) Laurenti; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

As the years go by,

our relationship becomes more and more special to me.

I've always felt lucky

to have you for a sister,

but I feel even more fortunate

to have you for a friend-

a friend I can count on

anytime and anywhere...

Graveside memorial service with Rev. Robert Stephens officiating will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Peace Cemetery, 183 Aqueduct St., Akron.
