Jane B. Simcox

Jane B. Simcox, 76, of Akron, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2017. She was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania on September 6, 1940 to the late William and Dorothy Wilkeson. In her free time, Jane loved baking, cooking, gardening, and being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Wilkeson.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Robert (Eileen), Gerald (Joanne), Donald, and David (Jeanette); sisters, Marge (Edward) Stacy, Miriam Smith, and Helen Kawecki; grandchildren, Rob (Emily) Daniel (Kim), George (Julia), Alissa, Blaine, Eric, Sydney, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Brenna, Jaxon, RJ, Fallon, and Hudson; and dear friends, Reggie and Susan Robinson and their children.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 from 11-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Rose Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service.
