Janet Denise Baggett, age 66 of Akron passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on July 15, 2021. She was born in Newton Township, NC on August 1, 1954 to the late Betty H. {Hollar} Moore and Robert (Juanita) Heatwall.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brother George "Bubby" Thomas, husband Timothy Howard Baggett I.
Janet will be dearly missed by her children Erica Finley and Timothy Howard Baggett II; former son-in-law Jonathan Finley; grandchildren Gavin and Chloe Finley; sister Deidre Heatwall; brothers Raymond (Tina) Heatwall, John Heatwall; niece and nephews Derek (Ashley), Jared, Josh and Greyson; many extended family members and friends.
A funeral ceremony will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 on Thursday, July 22 at 4:30 p.m., with visitation to follow the service until 7:00 p.m. To leave a message for Janet's family, please scroll below.
