Janet L. Butler

Janet L. Butler, 74, passed away December 8, 2024 with family by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio, she lived in the area most of her life. Janet worked as a nurse at Akron Children's Hospital for most of her career life. Known as the Great Aunt Janet to some, she was always on the go and enjoyed shopping, theater shows, going to church, dinners with friends and spending time with her family.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stanley Rose. She will be sadly missed by her son, Wayland (Barb) Hicks; granddaughter, Stephanie; sister, Dorothy Keen; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services.
