Janet M. Farcas, age 65 of Austintown, Ohio, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation after battling cancer.
She was born on June 24, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (nee Gail) Krell. She was raised and lived in Hubbard for most of her life and attended Hubbard High School.
Janet enjoyed family picnics and gatherings. She was very passionate about her flower gardening and wild life, especially birds. Janet loved to cook and be with her family and friends. Janet never met a stranger and had a very upbeat personality.
Survivors include her husband, John Farcas, whom she married on July 17, 2010; her sons, Bradley "Brad" Dubas and Raymond "Ray" Dubas; her step-children, Phillip (Gina) Farcas and Nicole (Bob) Seybert; her step-grandchildren, Brett, Gabrielle and Dominic; her niece, Ronni Dubas; her sister, Mary Kay Illencik, and Mary Kay's children, Daniel and Michelle Illencik; and Janet's former husband and friend, Ronald Dubas.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at North Mar Church, 3855 East Market Street, Warren, Ohio 44484, where Pastor Myron Daum will celebrate Janet's life.
Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
