Janet Harden-Horn

Janet Harden-Horn, 57, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2018. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February 24, 1961 to late parents William and Betty Harden. Janet was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a caring aunt. As a nurse at Crossroads, and prior to that at Rockynol, she put the care of others first. Janet enjoyed being part of family functions, taking time out to listen to others, cooking and trying her luck at the slots. She will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Emily Ann, who was her world. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Ed; sister, Vicki Kline; step-children, Michelle Horn, Edward Horn Jr.; nephews, David (Becky), John (Beth), Danny (Cindy); nieces, Lori Weisner, Lisa Vance; and too many friends to mention from Rockynol and Crossroads.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place at 7pm. Cremation to follow at a later date.
