Janet M. Hinton, 84, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020. She was born on April 9, 1935, in Akron, to parents Edwin and Elizabeth Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hinton, who passed away in 1981.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Kenneth Jr. (Debbie), Pam Lynch, Sherry (Mike) Soppi-Gron, and Dan Hinton; grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Mark, Nicholas, and Cory; great-grandchildren, Cayce, Adrianna, Claire, and Lola.
Janet was a faithful member of the First Church of God in Tallmadge. She loved her German Shepherd, Sammy, and hiking in the Metro Parks. Janet would often be seen out working in her yard in the flower beds. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Church of God, 464 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Private services were held by the family to celebrate Janet's life.
