Janet Kay Burkholder
Janet Kay Burkholder, born on January 28, 1942, passed away on October 6, 2008 as a result of a tragic accident. She was born in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp. in Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. She retired from FirstMerit Bank in Akron, Ohio. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Donald; children, Mark (Elizabeth) Baldwin, Marlene (Phillip) Curro, Barry (Kimberly) Baldwin, and Stephen (Coleen) Baldwin; stepchildren, Steve and Douglas Burkholder; grandchildren, Mark Jr., Candace, Sarah, Jessica, and Zac Baldwin, Rachel and Lauren Cox; brothers, Dean, Charles, Ken, and Jim Davis; sisters, Pauline Cuthrell and Betty Kearns; sisters-in-law, Helen, Jeanette, Barb,and Hildegard Davis; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Shirley Perrin and Barb Hostetler. Janet was preceded in death by her brothers, William Davis and Fred Davis, Jr.; and sister, Ruth Behra. Calling hours will be Friday from 10-12 followed by a 12 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
