Janet Lee Michael Pollack, 55, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2011 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Janet was born May 9, 1956. She enjoyed her family and grandsons, bowling, animals, and outdoors. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Charles Michael. She is survived by her mother, Virginia (Reginald) Dillworth; daughter, Natalie (Keith) Easterling; grandsons, Owen and Evan; sister, Barbara (Joe) Gardner; niece and nephews; best friend, Arlene Randolph; special friend, Ralph Arbogast; and faithful pets, Molly and Tigger. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Barberton Citizens Hospital and Magnolia Village. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 7, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 8, at 1 pm at Rose Hill Burial Park with Pastor Derek Starr Redwine officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society.
