Janet Lynn Stansberry

Janet Lynn Stansberry, "Jan", age 66 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died after a courageous three year battle with cancer on February 10, 2022.
She was born on June 22, 1955 in Akron, the daughter of the late Edward H. and Lola M. (nee Slusser) Corbett.
Jan's favorite past time was reading books, photography and also enjoyed time with her pets, as she was an animal lover. She and her husband loved walking the Metro Park trails, bird watching.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Randolph L. "Randy" Stansberry, whom she married on October 20, 1979. Her brother also survives, Glen Corbett and her nephew, Kevin Corbett.
Per Janet's wishes there will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or to your local animal shelter or animal rescue.
