Janice Carol Aber, 79, of Akron, passed away at home peacefully, surrounded by family on December 9, 2017. Janice was born on January 2, 1938 to the late Raymond and Virginia Smith. Janice retired from Ferriot Brothers and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Aber; son, Jackie Aber; sister, Jean Rittenour, and brother, Raymond Smith.
Janice will be dearly missed by her children, Patty (Brian) Walleen, Cheryl (Jeff) Miller, David Aber, Joseph (Cindy) Aber, and Tim Aber; sisters, Pauline (Robby) Robison and Nadine (Bob) Kight; grandchildren, Lynn Sprouse, Jessica Miller, and Melissa Vargo; 6 great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1:15 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
