Janice Lee Creekmore

Janice Lee (nee Robinson) Creekmore, age 81 of Wadsworth, Ohio, died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Bret and Ann Creekmore.

She was born on January 17, 1940 in Stow, Ohio, the daughter of the late Orlin and Ethel (nee Smith) Robinson.

Janice was a homemaker and enjoyed gambling and visiting Las Vegas, NV, working in her lawn, reading romance novels, bowling and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. She also enjoyed animals, especially her cat, Gabby.

Survivors include her children, Kim Murphy, Robin Syroid, Dana Hillier, John (Judith) Waters and Bret (Ann) Creekmore; her12 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Katherine Krosnick.

Other than her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Creekmore; and several brothers and sisters are deceased.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
