Janice Dale Vanbuskirk

Janice Dale VanBuskirk, 65, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on September 3, 2012. Janice was born on February 26, 1947, to the late Denzil and Mary Channell. She enjoyed scrapbooking, tending to her garden, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Charles, of 50 years; daughters, Deborah Conrad, Tammy (Tommy) Starcher; son, Charles VanBuskirk, Jr.; grandchildren, John (Amy) Conrad, Carrie (Dan) Cannon, C.J. (Alisha), Matthew, and Morgan Conrad, Alan and Tommy Lee Starcher, Taylor, Whitney, Liam, and McKenna VanBuskirk; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Denny) White, Annette (Tom) Stewart; brother, Kevin (Alice) Channell.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, 1-4 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
