Janice E. Hoffman
Janice E. Hoffman, 62, went to be with her savior, Jesus Christ, suddenly and peacefully, on December 17, 2009. Janice had attended Akron Bible Church and was active in AA for many years. She enjoyed needlepoint, word search puzzles, taking her daily walks, and spending time with her special grandchildren and dear neighbors. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Hogue; sister, Katherine Hogue; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Green. Survivors include her beloved husband of 42 years, Donald; daughters Betty (Bryan Smiley) Reynolds and Tammy Hoffman; grandchildren, Robert, Lauren, and Corey; sister, Christine Hogue; special friends, Lee Ann Bentacourt and Judi Waddell; and several nieces and nephew. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
