Janice Faye English, age 69 of Akron passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 15, 2022. A lifelong resident of Akron, she was born to the late Hite and Ida {Warner} Ingram.
In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her siblings Danny, Gale, Joyce, Pat and Mark.
Jan's legacy of love will be carried on by her sisters Sharon Hammond and Kathi Sommer; sisters-in-law Monica Ingram and Mary Ingram; loving lifelong friends Sue Derrenberger and Pamm Cox; precious pets Molly, Roo and Calli; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, especially those from Silver Lake Country Club, who she considered family.
Jan was an avid lover of animals, family and her heavenly Father.
Everyone is invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, May 20 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Visitation of Mary Catholic Church, 55 Broad St. Akron, OH 44305, with interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
