Janice Hensley

Janice Hensley, 82, passed away on February 5, 2023. She was born on August 12, 1940 the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Casto in Harts, WV. She was a woman of faith and was a member of Victory Chapel. She enjoyed reading her Bible and many other books. She loved the outdoors especially fishing. She had many accomplishments but her greatest was her love of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Frank Deem, and Clyde Hensley Jr.; sons Clyde Hensley III, and Franklin "Kelly" Deem; and beloved grandson Troy L. Lawson.
Janice is survived by her daughter Joyce (Gene) Scritchfield; son Troy Deem Sr.; 9 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday (Feb. 10th) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron).
