Janice L. Sands

Janice L. Sands, of Green, passed away on May 24, 2016. She was born on August 28, 1934 to the late Lawrence and Cora Johnston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter. She will be deeply missed by her children, Stephanie Sands-Bolinger, Mark and Angel Sands, Stacy and Jim Kitchen, and Lori Hardy; brother, Gene and Lillian Johnston; grandchildren, Shannon, J.B. and Takeisha, Adam and Sarah, Joshua and Sonja, Alisha, Heather, Alex, Spencer, and Parker; great-grandchildren, Jade, Katelynn, Keysha, Jacob, Ali, Jaci, Kyle, and Benjamin; great-great-grandchildren, Kendal, Kyimere, Jaylen, and Brycen.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
