Janice Kay Mytko, "Kay", age 67, of Akron, Ohio died on July 5, 2020 in Barberton.
She was born on July 28, 1952 in Canton, the daughter of the late Francis Eugene Eidmann and the late Elsie Mae (nee Whipple) Stover.
Kay was a 1970 graduate of Green High School and she also graduated from Akron Barber College. She worked in retail for many years as a manager. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her animals and she loved to collect knickknacks.
Survivors include her children, Misty Mathias of Barnesville, GA and Joseph F. (companion, Stephanie) Mytko II, with whom she lived; her grandchildren, Kalei Owens, Lukas Cottrill, Austin Cottrill and Skylar Noland. Her siblings also survive, Tom (Janet) Eidmann, Wanda Mullins, Carol Eidmann and Mark Eidmann and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Watkins.
There will not be any calling hours or services and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
Per Janice's request her cremated remains will be placed with husband in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
