Janice Laura Reed

Janice Laura Reed (nee Pittman) passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2022 with her family by her side. She was a loving wife of 44 years to Kennon Reed Sr.; a mother to 10 children: Judy Meredith, Kenny White (deceased), Mike White, Roger (Kathy) White, Becky (John) Dye, Donna Reed, Kennon Reed Jr. (Patty), Roger Reed, Terry (Heather) Reed, and Ross (Tracy) Reed; a grandmother to 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and sister to June Hubbard (George Collins) and Wayne (Fern) Pittman. She will remain forever in our hearts and will be remembered and cherished by all those who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 11-12:45 pm followed by a 12:45 pm funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. PLEASE NOTE THE SERVICE TIME HAS BEEN UPDATED. Interment at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summa Home Hospice.
