Janice K. Wood, 80, passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 25, 1942 to the late William and Ada Marker. She worked in the cafeteria at Akron City Hospital for many years. Janice enjoyed many things such as collecting breyer horses, shopping, watching her favorite TV shows and going to McDonald's. What she truly enjoyed the most, though, was spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by husband, William F. Wood; daughter, Ada Wood; brothers, Allen and Alvin Marker.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, William P. (Danielle Wilt) Wood and family.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
Inurnment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
