Jason was a driven and intelligent entrepreneur from a young age. At 16, he harnessed his talents to establish his own business. His insatiable curiosity and sharp intellect enabled him to master every skill necessary to build a successful enterprise of companies, from Ohio Mobile Gaming to Duct Cleaning to Property Management to Akron Radon.
Jason frequently involved his four sons in his work, teaching them how to use power tools and the value of a dollar earned. He embedded them with the confidence necessary to pursue life with a pervasive, contagious fever. Jason was an avid teacher, sharing his love for business and adventure, especially traveling and fishing. Jason stocked his pond and taught countless kids to enjoy the sport. He was many things to many people: a mentor, a teacher, a loving husband and father, and a beloved son.
His love for family and friends was indisputable. Jason left an indelible mark in the hearts of his family and friends, who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor, but his influence will continue to inspire and guide us.
In honor of Jason’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a future date in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, if you are able, please consider donating to the Go Fund Me page to help the Hoffman family with funeral expenses and service costs. Donations can also be made in Jason’s name to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation , a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the risk of suicide and support families and communities impacted by suicide. More information on the celebration of life will be provided when available.
