Jason Dale Mason, age 68, of Akron, Ohio died Sunday April 11, 2021 at Akron City Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Mason; his sons, Dierre (Cherise) Clift, Dexter (Asjli) Clift, Sean (Stacy) Mason, and Jason Mason Jr.; his daughters, Cynetta Clift, Cynethia Ford, Jessica (Elvis) Mason-Ebengho, Jovana Anthony, and Kendra Mason; his siblings, Anthony (Lucy) Mason and Annette (Frank) Smith; 25 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was born March 2, 1953 in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Noble B. Mason Jr and Evelyn Worthington Mason. He was a Machinist for over 40 years. He enjoyed cooking, football and movies; however, his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James D. Mason, Kevin Mason, and Noble Mason III, and his sister, Wendy Williams.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 444305 on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
