Jean A. Hartong passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Seasons Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born on April 26, 1926 in Akron, Ohio. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Pearl Hartong. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Dale and Dorothy Hartong; and special niece and nephew, Tami Ward and Kent Hartong. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.
