Jean J. Spardy, 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Jean was born on January 23, 1931. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the time she and William spent in Florida and many other interests such as crafting and cooking.
Jean was loved for her " tell it like it is personality" .
Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Spardy; mother, Lucille Brooks; sisters, Wanda and Deloris.
She is survived by her children; Linda (Al) Frattura, Deborah Marcelli , Ray Spardy, Dennis ( Kathy ) Spardy, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren ; many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss Jean greatly.
Family will receive friends on, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will follow. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
