Jean Marie Pergl, 74, of Green, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 19, 2016. She was born in Wooster, OH on March 12, 1942. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo with her friends. She always wore a smile on her face.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pergl Jr; mother, Virginia Fay; brothers, Ronnie Fay and Terry Farnham; and sister, Connie D'Agostini. She is survived by her sons, Steve and David Pergl; daughter, Chrissy (Bob) Estes; grandchildren, Ashley Stalnaker, Ashley Gibson, Tyler Sherman, and Shane and Cody Estes; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Collard and Terry Fay; sisters, Judy Chefan and Cindy Dryden; father, Russell Collard; special friend, Dean, also Bonnie, Marie and Jack of The Laurels; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to The Laurels of Massillon; especially Barb, Miranda, Jean, Joyce and Candy, and Crossroads Hospice for their love and care. Family will receive friends on Friday July 22, 2016 from 10-12pm with the funeral service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Interment East Liberty Cemetery.
