Jeanette Marie Rieneckert, age 83, passed away peacefully in her home Monday April 18th, 2022 surrounded by her adoring family.
Born on March 14th, 1939 in Brookings, South Dakota to Glenn and Myrna Worden, she spent most of her life in Northeast Ohio. She was a 1957 graduate of Norton High School.
A perfect day for Jeanette involved a hot cup of coffee, fresh picked tomatoes from her garden, her dogs, Cleveland sports, and her best friend (and granddaughter) Sandra.
Jeanette was a fierce lover and protector of her family. The love she gave was palpable. The hugs she gave were strong and intentional. She doted on her grandbabies, great grandbabies, and great-great grandbaby.
Jeanette lived her life for Christ. She was strong in her faith and shared her love for God with those around her.
Jeanette was quick-witted and a "firecracker". Her smile and laugh were infectious. Despite her health struggles over the last few years, Jeanette lived with the very same grace she had lived with all the years before. She was inspiring, courageous, and affable, and her impression on those she met will be eternal.
Preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Myrna Worden, and husband Bob Rieneckert. She is survived by her sister Joan Lewis; daughters, Cindy (Mike Ray) Keenum, Sandy (Russ) Pitman; sons, Larry (Margie) Smith, Chris (Sue) Smith, Robert (Karen) Rieneckert; granddaughters; Kathy (Aaron) Kyer, Sandra Garrett, Audreanna Keenum; grandsons, Matt (Maggie) Smith, Ian Smith, and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
We would like to thank Summa Hospice, Melissa, Lisa, and Dr. Luke for their excellent care.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron at a date soon to be determined. Please check back for details.
