Jeannette M. Wheeler, 78, of Akron, died on June 10, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born January 13, 1927 in Akron to the late Lee & Della (May) Decker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mel Wheeler; and sisters, Beatrice Rowland and Helen Albert. She is survived by her sisters, Della Nance, with whom she made her home, Dottie Stamphle of Pennsylvania, Ruth Stiller of Akron and June Starkey of Iowa; dear friend, Norm Marks. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Pastor Shean Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the service begins.
