Jeffery Joseph Boden, "Joe", age 42 of Akron, Ohio, died on July 18, 2019 at his home.
He was born on June 28, 1977 in Akron, the son of Rose (nee Dula) Thompson and Jeffery L. Boden both of Akron.
Joe was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and any outdoor activity, especially motor bikes.
Other than his parents, survivors include his wife, the former Theresa A. Hershberger, whom he married on July 5, 2013; his children, Devon, Seth, Brian, Derrick and Xavier; his step-son, Austin; and his wife's children, Scott and Rebecca; one granddaughter, Serenity. Also surviving are his brothers, Roger Dale and Adam; his step-brothers, Christopher and Billy; and his grandmother, Shirley Dula. His step-father, Roger Foster and his very special friend, Thomas "Monk" Sprouse survive.
Joey had one niece and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends that will mourn his loss and was loved more than he will ever know.
Those that preceded him in death were his grandparents, Gene V. Dula, Joseph and Margaret Boden, Homer and Beatrice Foster; and his special friend, "Uncle" Charles Neal.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305.
