Born on September 21, 1961, Jeffrey Dicks, 50, of Akron, died suddenly on April 1, 2012. Jeff served his country in the US Navy followed by the Reserves. He worked for many years at Ferriot Brothers in Akron. Preceded in death by his dad, Ralph Dicks and grandparents, Peter and Clara Oras, Jeff is survived by his mom, Peggy Dicks; brother, Gary Dicks; sisters, Debbie (Bill) Lyle, Lori (Paul) Oravecz, and Shirley (Paul) Eddleman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend, Wendy Tomblin, and longtime friend, Larry Ange. Jeff's great sense of humor and huge heart will be sadly missed. He will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Pastor Don Gainer officiating.
