Jeffrey Joe Hathaway
Jeffrey Joe Hathaway, 45, of Norton, passed away on May 15, 2013. He was born in Akron on August 23, 1967 to Joe and Linda Hathaway. Jeff was the Business Agent for Plasterers' and Cement Masons' Local 109. He was involved for many years with Springfield Youth Organization coaching football, baseball, girls basketball, and Springfield High School baseball.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Joe Hathaway; grandfather, Eugene Hathaway; uncle, Larry Villanova; grandparents, Ruth and Chuck Conger.
Jeff is survived by his children, Matthew Joseph Hathaway (Ashley), Luke Edwin Hathaway (Sommer), Brooke Denise Hathaway; grandson, Maximus Jeffrey; mother, Linda Hathaway; brother, Joe Hathaway (Amoreena); nephew, Cole; grandmother, Helen Hathaway; fiancee Angie, her children, Sam and Nick, and her family. Jeff will be sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and beloved friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 28 from 10-1:30 followed by a 1:30 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Inurnment at Hillside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff's memory to Big Creek Search Dog Team.
