Jeffrey A. Sturm, 66, of Akron, passed away on November 25, 2023. Jeff was born in Akron on November 3, 1957 to the late Charles T. and Betty J. Sturm.
Jeff was a truck driver for over 25 years, most recently driving for Thomas Transport. In his free time, he loved working on cars, listening to music, and spending time with his family. Some of his favorite memories were made while traveling and camping. Jeff always had a smile on his face, earning him the nickname "Smiley". He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles D. and Lonnie G. Sturm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen; daughter, Mallory Sturm (Matthew Filing) and Matthew Sturm; grandchildren, Carter, Rilee, and Jaxen; and sister, Cindy (Gary) Dusel of Florida.
Per Jeff's wishes, cremation will take place and he will be privately laid to rest at Woods Cemetery.
