Jennie Morris, 85, of Akron, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021.
She will be missed by all who knew her, including many who will remember her from her years of managing, and later owning, Art's Place on Waterloo Rd. She loved crocheting from an early age, and her countless creations will forever be a reminder of the beautiful person who made them.
Jennie was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Unger, Sr. and Richard Morris, daughter Jennie Augsburger, sisters Laura Seiler and Juanita Baker, and brother John Seiler.
She is survived by sisters Monica Seiler, Margaret Seiler and Kathy Connor, children Wayne (Sandra) Unger, Dodie (Rick) Varca, Pam Atkins, and Tom (Pam) Unger, son-in-law Wade Augsburger and her ten grandchildren. Also, her eight great-grandchildren will dearly miss their "Candy-Gram."
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, June 2 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service to begin at 7pm. Father Michael Smith officiating.
