Jennifer Renee Edwards

Jennifer Renee Edwards {Barker} received her angel wings on June 13, 2022.

Jennifer was a 1993 graduate of North High School, attended the University of Akron where she met her husband Steve, and received her Associate Degree from the Akron Institute. She was employed at Signet Jewelers for 17+ years where many described her as a good friend and the "go to person." She was a faithful member of Zion Apostolic Faith Church, where she received baptism and Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Jennifer liked referring to herself as "Queen Bee"; a little bossy and always determined to succeed despite the challenge. She loved partying with her "peeps", concerts, occasional trips to the local casino, and traveling with her husband and family. Everyone knew the thing she enjoyed the most was spoiling "her heart," nephew Noah.

Jennifer is survived by her one and only true love, her Husband Stephen K. Edwards; Mother Susan Barker; Sister Lori Barker; Nephew Noah Barker; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as a multitude of friends.

Calling hours will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron on Monday, June 20th from 4-7. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21st at Zion Apostolic Faith Church located at 10 W. Tallmadge Ave., Akron starting at 11 with visitation one hour prior to the service. No graveside service to follow, as Jennifer has chosen to be cremated.
