Jennifer Ann (nee Baker) Nelson, "Jeni", age 51, of Akron, Ohio, died on April 16, 2022.
She was born on August 22, 1970 in Akron, the daughter of Betty (nee Sparks) Baker Teffner of Akron and the late David Baker. Jennifer was also raised by her step-father, the late Melvin Teffner.
Jeni was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking, art and making crafts.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Stephen Nelson, whom she married on July 22, 2013; and her children, George P. Wood IV and Brandon (Nathan) Victor Collins.
Per Jennifer's request there will not be any calling hours or services and cremation will take place. Jennifer's cremated remains will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, with her late grandparents, Earl and Theresa (nee Kenney) Sparks.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
