Jennifer Elizabeth Poling, 34, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away January 10, 2016. Jennifer was born in Akron, Ohio on August 14, 1981. She was an active and faithful member of First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge, having impacted generations of youth as a counselor at Ohio Youth Camps. Jennifer graduated from Marietta High School and went on to Washington State Community College to pursue her nursing degree. She worked at Bolich Middle School as a nurse through Akron Children's Hospital. Jennifer was very selfless, always putting God and others first, and she was the best aunt Ginger ever. She will be forever remembered for her infectious smile, her positive attitude. Everyone was guaranteed a hug.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Tanna Ritchie, and grandmother, Charlotte Morton.
She is survived by her father, Frank Poling, sisters, Brittany (Mark) Garber, and Grace Ritchie; brother, Mark Ritchie; grandparents, Don Morton, and Frank and Rose Poling; step-father, Rick Ritchie, nieces and nephew, Preston, Charlotte "Shine," Penelope, and Colette Garber; step-sister, Mishelle Poling; Uncle Mark (Treena) Morton, and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4-8 pm at First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge, 199 South Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278. Friends may also gather from 10 am until time of Homegoing Celebration at 11 am with Reverend Ken Bulgrin officiating. Interment in Tallmadge Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge-Building Fund. Reception for the family at the church Family Life Center immediately following interment.
