Jeremy William Petty, age 68, a dedicated truck driver and cherished family man, passed away on November 14, 2024 at Malachi House in Cleveland. Born on August 19, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, he enjoyed a life filled with adventure and commitment, qualities that defined both his career and personal endeavors.

As a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army, Jeremy exhibited courage and resilience that would shape his throughout his life. Military service instilled him a strong sense duty, which he applied into his career as a truck driver. His professional journey was marked by the dedication that resonated with many who knew him, as he navigated the open roads with skill and purpose.

Jeremy was not only defined by his work but also by the relationships he nurtured. He is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy Jr. "Amos" Petty and Courtney Hamilton; grandchildren Destiny Petty and Nate Petty; and his loving sisters Ann Mangum and Lori Wright. These family members were an integral part of his life, and he cherished the moments spent with them. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ruby (Thompson) Huddleston; and by siblings Joyce Howe, his twin Larry Huddleston and Clerance Huddleston.

Jeremy's legacy will be remembered through the stories shared by those whose lives he touched. His passion for life, commitment to family, and unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of his loved ones and friends. He leaves behind a profound impact on all who knew him, embodying the values of hard work, loyalty, and love.

His wish was to be cremated and his final resting place will be the military cemetery.
