Jerry Burge

Jerry E. Burge, 76, of Akron, passed away January 15, 2016. Jerry was born in Shadyside, Ohio on May 2, 1939 to the late James and Irene Burge. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering with anything that would come along. He is survived by wife, Carol Burge; sons, Jerry G. (Carol), Timothy (Mary), Michael (Jodi), Jonathon; daughters, Wendy (Alan) Duchaine, Mona Emery (Troy), Kathyren Edge; sisters, Betty Kay, Catherine, Bonnie Sue; grandchildren, Stacy, Nicholas (Jennifer), Jeremy, Corey, Krystan, Kyle, Kelly, Amanda, Tia, Kimberly, Heather, Jerry Gene II, Ashley, Justin and Timmy; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Autumn, Wyatt, Rosalie, Izzac, Dennis, Destiny, Victoria, Starlet, Dominic, Julian, Lexis, Riley, Korben, Declan, Cameron, Jordan and Timmy. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert.

Family and friends may call from 2 - 4 p.m. on Friday, January 22 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m.
