Jerry E. Cramer
October 5, 1942 — August 14, 2017
Jerry E. Cramer, 74, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at his home in Cape Coral, Florida. He was a retired Operating Engineer Local 18 where he had been a member since 1961. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid bluegrass music fan.
He is survived by his loving wife Chloe; son Tom (Trish) Cramer; daughter Sue (Jim) Haney; step-sons Dan (Stephanie) Carson and Robert Carson; brothers Don (Debbie), Dan (Barb), Clem (Cindy), Rex (Lee), Jim (Vicky) and Mike (Michelle); sister Carole Madden; sisters-in-law Barb Cramer and Donna Cramer ; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Mary Cramer; brothers Ron and Ted, and sister, Janet Vanaman.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 3-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11 AM. Jerry will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
