Jerry D. Headley, 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Akron, Ohio to John W. Headley & Beulah V. Pyett-Headley. Jerry moved from Akron to Jacksonville, Florida in 2000 to reside with his daughter and son-in-law. He is survived by his 2 sons, Jeff (Kim) Headley of Mogadore and Tim (Tracy) Headley of Akron; 2 daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Evans of Jacksonville, Florida and Kathi (John) Wyatt of Tallmadge; 7 grandchildren, Brian, Josh, Rebecca, Jon Headley and Jessica, Angela and Kyle Wyatt; 1 sister, Juanita (Paul) Reeder of Wadsworth; 3 sisters-in-law, Mary Headley of St. Petersburg, Florida, Gladys and Helen Headley of Akron, Ohio. Visitation will be Sunday, March 13 from 6 - 8 p.m. and Monday, March 14 from 12:30 - 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
