Jerry "Jc" Colando

Jerry "JC" Colando, 60, of Akron, passed away on April 18, 2017 with his wife by his side. He was born in Akron on August 23, 1956 to the late Anthony and Colleen Colando. JC proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved riding his Harley, playing drums, and watching the Browns with his son, JJ. JC will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 11 years, Nannette; stepchildren, Angel (Matt) Thornton and Jamin Davis; siblings, Jack (Melodye) Colando, Tony "Joe" (Mary) Colando, Janis (Dave) Helbling, and Jenny Colando; parents-in-law, Ron and Nancy Beken; sisters-in-law, Paula (Joe) Pascucci and Roni (Vince) Racco; special nephew, Edward; many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. JC's family wishes to thank Hospice of Summa and our special neighbor Marge for taking such good care of him. A private celebration of JC's life will be held at a later date.
