Jerry L. Tennant, 63, of Kent, passed away on Oct. 20, 2006. He was born on Jan. 9, 1943, to the late Pearley and Neva (Roberts) Tennant, in Ravenna, OH. Jerry worked for Gouglers Machine for 30 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their motor home. Jerry also loved camping and fishing, especially in Canada. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Keith Tennant. Jerry is survived by his wife Marion (nee Holt); sons: Jerry Lee Tennant, Michael Tennant (Jen), Duane White (Lisa), Ronald Tennant, Robert Holt, and Ronald Holt; brothers: Dennis Tennant (Cheryl) and Tom Tennant and grandchildren: Jewelia, Ashleigh, Carolanne, Rob, Dustin, Chad and Drew. Calling hours will be on Tues. Oct. 24, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Wed. at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim officiating.
