Jesse W. Holloway, Sr.
Jesse W. Holloway, Sr., 79, passed away on August 6, 2008. Born November 10, 1928 in Keyser, WV to the late Jesse and Anna Holloway. Jesse served with the US Army in Korea and retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber after 20 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Shelia "Sissy", and several siblings. Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Pauline; daughters Winnie and Debbie (Mark); sons Jesse, Jr. (Eileen) and Bill (Vicky); 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Virginia; and brother James. Calling hours will be Monday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a funeral service at 1 p.m., Pastor Harold Bradley officiating. Interment at Grandview Memorial Park. Military honors will be provided by Firestone VFW Post 3383. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
