Jesse R. Melton

Jesse R. Melton, 75, of Rootstown, passed away January 10, 2013. He was born in Woodbury, TN on September 8, 1938 to the late William H. and Eula Melton. Jesse lived in Akron area most of his and owned Universal Plating for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Ray Jr. and brother, John.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet; sons, James Brent and Jeffrey Wade (Eileen); grandchild, Whitney Gail.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 15, from 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Regas officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
