Jessie D. Ward, 58, of Akron, passed from this world on February 24, 2005. Jessie is survived by his wife, Lynne; sons, Andrew, Jesse, Adam (Tiffany), and Ben (Susan); brothers and sisters, Marlon, Chelsea, Allen, Alfred, Opal, and Martha; and his beloved grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 5 p.m. at Lakemore Community Baptist Church, 2783 Ithaca Ave, with Rev. Leslie Whited officiating.
