Jewel Dean Bennett

January 11, 2013 at 3:50 PM, our Mother took her last breath. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a sister and aunt to many. She was born April 3, 1931 in Akron, OH and was the third child of 13.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin, of 59 years; parents, Talford and Bessie (Burgess) Reeder; brothers, Talford Jr., John, James and Lee; sister, Eileen.

Jewel is survived by her daughters, Linda (Raymond) Heilman, Cynthia Bennett and Carla Bennett; grandchildren, Danielle, Erik (Amanda), Adam, Shelly and Vincent; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor and Regan. She will be missed greatly and loved by many.

There will be a private family viewing at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15 at 11:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Summa's Palliative Care and Hospice.
