Jimmie T. Johnson Jr.

Jimmie T. Johnson Jr., 66, of Akron, passed away on May 2, 2018. He was born in Akron on November 7, 1951. Jimmie worked for Summa Akron City Hospital. Those who will cherish his memory include his mother, Betty Johnson Sr.; eldest daughter, Theresa (Lance) Morgan; only son, Jeremiah Johnson; youngest daughter, Crystal Johnson; the mother of his children to whom he was married for seventeen years, Linda Johnson Harrison; special niece and caregiver, Linettra Walters; and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Early Harrison officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Visitation for one hour prior to services.
