Jimmie C. Wilborn

Jimmie C. Wilborn "Jim", 76, of Akron, passed away on January 19, 2019. He was born in Akron on June 24, 1942 to the late Charles Hoy and Stella Wilborn. He worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber for over fifteen years before working at Saint-Gobain until his retirement in 2012. In Jim's younger years, he enjoyed golf and riding motorcycles. He had many fond memories of boating and waterskiing at North Branch and the Portage Lakes. He also had an interest in magic and knew many card tricks. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Sharon; his devoted son, Scott; beloved granddaughter, Crystel; and great-grandchildren, Mathew and Haley. Per Jim's wishes, cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
