Joan Patricia "Pat" Auvil, 80, of Akron, OH, passed away June 6, 2018 after a battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Pat was born to Carl Henry Schuster, Jr. and Dorothy Jean Schuster, March 17 1938, in Akron, OH. She graduated from North High School and attended Hiram College and The University of Akron.
Predeceased by her husband, Ralph Shaffer Auvil in 1997; Pat is survived by her brothers, Jack (Jackie) Schuster and William Howard (Betty) Schuster; her children, Jean (Robert) Hillstrom, James B. Kubeck, Joseph Kubeck, and John W. Kubeck; her grandchildren, Franklin D. Moore, III, Krystal Kubeck, James Kubeck II, Katie Kubeck, Jennifer Kubeck, Jeffrey Kubeck, Amber Kubeck; eleven great grandchildren; and her cat, Dopey. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held June 18, 12:00pm at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 West Market St, Akron, OH. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation www.bcrf.org.
