Joan Cassel (nee Farmer)
Joan Cassel, 76, passed away January 22, 2009. She was born in Akron, Ohio, where she was a longtime resident and retired from Parker Hannifin Corp. She was a lifetime member of East Market Street Church of God. Joan was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Elsworth Cassel and sons, Richard Lee Cassel and Dennis Jay Cassel. Joan is survived by her daughter, Cindy Maxwell; son, Darrel Cassel; grandchildren, Heather Maxwell and Hilary Patterson; great grandchildren, Mallary D. and Parker L. Patterson; and many other loving, helpful friends and relatives. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, January 28th at 11 a.m. at East Market Street Church of God, 2084 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44312.
